One of the Hong Kong heritage site in New Terrorists is Hong Kong Railway Museum. Hong Kong Railway Museum is located in the town center of Tai Po Market. I remember that I visited it last year in summer holiday. Let me share my experience and photos in Hong Kong Railway Museum to all of you guys.
The Hong Kong Railway Museum is an open-air museum converted from the old Tai Po Railway Station that built in 1913. It is a unique building that full of traditional Chinese style feeling. The building built with many small figures decoration that are commonly found in existing old southern Chinese temples.
Inside the museum, we can read the information and history about Hong Kong Railway. There is also an exhibition room of train tickets and train models of not only KCR trains but also Japanese Shinkansen and Eurostar. The further internal part of the room is a refurnished ticket office and signalling house.
For the outdoor area, there are two locomotives are on exhibition.
